As described by the author of the DVD`s, Ubuntu GamePack is currently the largest collection of different genres of games for Ubuntu Linux. There is no need to explore the Internet in search of game, but finding a game to ask how to install it in Ubuntu Linux.
The DVD`s contain only the games, so the system requires pre installation of Ubuntu 11.04 or LinuxMint11. The GamePack uses a script which installs the packages and dependencies without requiring any internet connection.
